124 - Thirza and John (Guelph Tool Library)

For this episode I interview Thirza Armstrong and John Dennis of the Guelph Tool Library. We talk about the philosophy behind sharing vs owning, waste vs re-use, and what our wonderful Tool Library shifts to look like during a pandemic. Some projects have had to pause, lots have had to shift-gears, and other totally new projects have emerged, including their new "Pin a Smile On" campaign, where they've been creating pins for their volunteers to make their smiling faces visible despite masks. We are so lucky to have this incredible organization and access to so many amazing tools here in Guelph! And if you're excited to support the library, they're always looking for more members, more volunteers, and donations of tools. So tune in! And check them out at guelphtoollibrary.org
