For this episode I interview local artist Sharyn Seibert, about her artwork, and specifically about her paintings inspired by Guelph’s Yorklands Green Hub . Sharyn shares some of the history of this space, the past eight years of advocacy that have gone into raising awareness to protect this land, as well as Guelph’s City Council’s recent monumental decision to give the land a Heritage Designation. You can check out Sharyn’s art at sharynseibert.com, and you can learn more about the Yorklands Green Hub (as well as ways you can get involved) at yorklandsgreenhub.ca. Thank you Sharyn for connecting with us and for your efforts to raise awareness of this beautiful space!
