161 - Dianne Chapitis, "Psithurism" (Choir in Motion)

For this episode I interview local Guelph dancer Dianne Chapitis. Dianne dances and creates as part of the artist collective "Choir in Motion", and put together a piece called "Psithurism" outside along the river south of York Road. Today we talk about how the piece came to exist, Dianne's history and path through dance, and how this section of river inspired her and co-creator Peter to bring their art outdoors.

The piece includes dance, poetry and music, and was performed Saturday August 28th, and Sunday August 29th along the river, with the audience following the performers down the path. The next performance will take place at the same location, on September 24th at 7pm! If you want to attend, they will meet at that time at the base of Audrey Street, south of York Road. Thank you Dianne for sharing your story of dance today!
