For this episode I interview Cormac Culkeen and Dave Grenon of Joyful Joyful, a two-piece music project who have just released their debut, self-titled album on Idée Fixe Records. Joyful Joyful and I are long-time friends, playing music together since the beginning of their musical journey many years ago, and the three of us reunited to talk about this release, and what it means for their project and the days ahead. They speak of the project's undercurrents of love and hope, their love for each other. Cormac and Dave have a beautiful way of showing up for each other despite periods of separation over time and space, and have learned a lot in the years it has taken to arrive to where they are.
