For this episode I interview Kat Herbinson, a neuro-diverse relationship coach who recently relocated to Victoria B.C. Kat was adventuring her way across the United States on route to her new home in B.C. when the pandemic hit, and she had to escalate her trip. As stressful and unusual as it must be to begin a new life from within quarantine, Kat had lots of amazing insights into ways we can work to cope with these unusual times. Things such as structure - without structure, the floating feelings and ambiguity of anxiety gets amplified, creating more and more moments where we wonder "what we should be doing", which feeds feelings of "productivity shaming". She also feels we should take a harm reduction approach to consumption, and that we build trust in ourselves whenever we take care of ourselves. This was an insightful conversation and we hope you enjoy it! You can learn more about Kat's practice at relationshipwell.com
